Fill out the puppy application

At Teapup our goal is to provide you with the perfect four-legged companion! Before a puppy is reserved by deposit, we ask all our potential puppy owners to fill out a puppy application form. This helps to ensure that our puppies go to the BEST possible homes, and it also assists us in finding the perfect match for YOU and our puppies.

Place a deposit

Which deposit you place depends on whether your puppy has been born yet.

• A puppy that is listed today. A non-refundable deposit of one third of the puppy price holds a puppy that is already listed.
• A litter still on the way. A $200 non-refundable deposit holds a place on the waiting list for a litter that has not been born yet. Puppies can be reserved by gender and color at birth and are officially picked at 4 to 5 weeks of age, when temperament, eye color and coat are known a little better. Deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to another puppy up to three times, or held for a year.

When you place your deposit, we will collect your contact information and schedule a day with you to pick up your puppy or have your puppy delivered to you (if applicable). If your puppy is old enough to go home, you will have two weeks from the date the deposit is placed to pick up your puppy.

Puppy application must be filled out before placing deposit, submission of application does not enforce you to place deposit if accepted!

Preparing to bring your puppy home

Here is what to do before go-home day and what comes home with your puppy.

Take care of these before go-home day

• Order NuVet Plus. We recommend NuVet Plus. Order it so it is waiting when your puppy comes home.
• Order your puppy’s food. Which food depends on your puppy’s age, as shown below.
• Schedule your pickup day with us. If you would rather have your puppy delivered, Getting your puppy home explains each option.
• Schedule your vet appointment. Our health guarantee says, “The puppy MUST be examined by a veterinarian within three (3) business days for this guarantee to be valid.”

Which food to order. Until 16 weeks of age our puppies eat Diamond Naturals Small & Medium Breed Puppy Chicken & Rice Formula, so order that for a puppy younger than 16 weeks. After 16 weeks, ask us which food your puppy is on and order the same one.

  Against Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus, Kennel Cough and Parainfluenza, plus Leptospirosis and Rabies depending on age.

• Microchip enrolled in your name

Our Miniature Schnauzer, Shih Tzu, West Highland White Terrier, Miniature Poodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are sold with limited registration, which does not include showing or breeding rights. We are willing to sell full registration to approved breeders for an additional fee.
