The family and the team behind Teapup
Teapup started in 1989 when Dan and Deb Beer began raising dogs on the family place in Syracuse, Indiana. In 2023 they retired and handed it to their granddaughter and her husband, Justin and Deborah Zimmerman.

Along with farming the land and caring for our other animals we enjoy the companionship of our dogs. Each one has its own unique personality and helps bring out the characteristics we are looking for in puppies! It is our goal to provide you with a puppy that has a great temperament and good conformation.
Teapup is licensed by the USDA, and we are members of the Indiana Council for Animal Welfare. Our dams and sires are AKC registered, and we are working toward health testing all of our mamas and papas, with the certificates we have posted on each parent's page. Our facilities run fully on solar power, and we stand behind every puppy we raise with support for the rest of its life.

Paige
Hello! My name is Paige, and I have been with Teapup for almost three years now. During my time here, I’ve become a kennel attendant and one of the primary groomers. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing how excited the dogs get after receiving a fresh haircut. Animal care is a huge part of my life, as I have four dogs of my own. Among them is my retired male Labrador, Buster, who is my absolute pride and joy!

Hi! My name is Lucy! I recently started working at Teapup and I absolutely love it! I love the variety in my daily responsibilities, from cleaning kennels, socializing, and walking the dogs, to prepping them for appointments with bathing, grooming, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. While I do not get to do it often yet, I especially enjoy meeting potential adopters and talking with them about the puppies we raise. As a lifelong animal lover with a special spot for dogs, and a schnauzer mix of my own, I have a particular soft spot for schnauzers and cavaliers.

Hello, I’m Abby! I work as a kennel hand and create all the social media content you see on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. I’ve been part of the Teapup team for three years, and my love for the dogs has only grown! My favorite breeds are Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles. One of my favorite parts of the job is getting to watch the puppies grow and seeing them find their forever families!
Visiting us
We are in Syracuse, Indiana, and we are glad to do a video call if you are too far to drive. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 3pm. Other times available on request.
