Hi Amber,

We sure missed meeting you too!  Hope was wonderful, and was so sweet, she went over thing very thorough!   It was such a pleasure to meet Deb also!  Misha is more than promised!  She is such a doll!!  I am so happy we found you!  I love her more than I can tell you!  My husband sure loves her too, we both switched on driving back, and he sure babied her too!  LOL  Not a problem on her nostrils, as you said they can fix that when she is spayed, I believe that is a common thing with Shih Tzu's, especially with the smaller babies.  Would you believe she did not sleep at all on the way home, I think she was nervous riding in the truck, she got sick a couple times,  :(   we did stop a few times to let her get out and move about, which she enjoyed!   She does not mind the harness and leash!   Once we got home we introduced her to her new brother Bosco, and it went well!   Sophie Cat came to say hi, and they too got along well!   She ate some dinner, and checked out the house, and chewed on some veggie bones. :o)  (We do not do rawhide, or pigs ears)  She is doing well going outside to potty, and I appreciate the potty schedule!    She is laying in a little round doggie bed here on my computer desk next to me sleeping.  Think she will sleep well tonight with all the excitement!  (me too! LOL)

Anyway, we LOVE our new baby girl Misha!!!  I think God knew we needed her before we knew!  She is a wonderful addition to our family, She is just precious!!!

Thank you again for a quality furbaby, and I promise I will keep in touch, and keep you informed about our Sweet Misha!

Take care!

 Hello,
I just wanted to send a picture of Shasta (formally Buttercup).  She is doing well, is overall a really good pup, and has the sweetest personality.  She loves taking walks.

Tomorrow she gets spayed and on Friday her first trim.  We love her long hair and don’t want to cut it too much.  She got into a few burs and have to get them cut out since her type of hair sticks easily to them.  Shasta has the prettiest hair.

That’s about it.

Amber,

Darby has become the perfect puppy. He's housebroken, loving, and of course still likes to chew on me. Thought that I'd pass on some updated photos. He loves to grass outside but doesn't like the California heat. He spends a great deal of time cooling off on the tile floor. All of his shots are complete with the exception of rabies. He will get his microchip and rabies shot when he is neutered between 5 and 6 months. All is well here with our new addition.

Dear Teapup people.

Just a note to thank you for Lilly (renamed Holly because of Christmas).

She is fitting in quite well with our other mini, named Roxy (female, 2 yrs
old).

Sadly, after Holly watched a recent episode of "The Jersey Shore" (filmed 30
miles away), we caught her in her room. Apparently, she's taking a liking to
Snookie and picking up some of her habits.

Anyway, thanks for the doggie. She's a wonderful addition to our family.

Hey Amber,

Just wanted to give you an update on our precious baby we got from you one year ago on Saturday (Jan 15th), Penny (formerly Emily ) a West Highland Terrier from Elsie and Fabio. With all the changes we've had this year I've not had the chance to write until now but anyways, Penny is literally my heart, from day one she has been the sweetest, smartest loving girl that has such a huge character despite her small stature.  My sister is a Vet and upon examination when we first obtained Penny, remarked about what a beautiful example she was for her breed and that she was in great health.  Penny loves to run around outside on our 65 acre farm and explore through the hay and barns (she probably should have been named Dora), her best friend is my in-laws border collie and even though he is five times her size she still plays like they were equals.  One of her funny habits is that she will "kill" her stuffed toys, she has very many stuffed toys but the only ones that she has "killed" has been her rat, raccoon, rabbit and beaver all the others are intact must be that terrier instinct.  My Husband tells me all the time that he knew this dog was going to be mine and thought she was just going to be a little "fancy" girl and can't believe how much he's come to love this sweet, rough-and-tumble girl.  Again thank you so much for all your help with the adoption, she has literally become the love of my life (next to my husband of course) God bless and hopefully we'll have another adoption soon.

Hi Amber,
We just wanted to touch base and let you know that Dewey (a.k.a "Benz") is doing great. (He was born in March 2010 and we picked him up from you May 2010). He is so smart and affectionate. He loves everyone: dogs, cats, people. We can't imagine life without him.
I'm attaching the photo of him that we used on our Christmas card this year.

Thanks for breeding such fantastic pups!

Hello! Happy New Year!
Matthew and I just wanted to send a quick update on Gertrude (formerly Virginia). She turned one on Jan. 3rd, and we are just so surprised at how quickly time flies. She's 23 pounds (though our vet says not overweight - she's just a big one)!
We can't thank you enough for the best addition to our little family. Gertie is spunky and sweet, super affectionate, and super smart! We love her so much, and have already convinces my sister and parents to get their own Schnauzer in the spring. We check back with your website regularly!

Thanks again - and we hope all is well with you and yours!

Hello,

We adopted Desiree, the adult Havanese, last month.  She has exceeded all of our expectations,.  I work at an assisted living facility and take her to work with me every day. The residents love her!   The first day she came to work, we had a resident’s husband pass away. The grieving, elderly woman was in the lobby with some family members.  I approached to offer my sympathy and she reached up for Desi.   Desi sat on her lap and snuggled up in her arms. There was not a dry eye in the building.  Desi  is  so sweet and gentle – a “natural” therapy dog.

She also has become fast friends with her Bichon brothers. Frosty (now Bob) who we adopted from you 3 years ago, and Zak.  Bob is a delight! He’s very sweet and shy.

I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful job you do with the puppies.  They couldn’t be any sweeter, or cuter!

Happy holidays to you and the wonderful team at Teapups!

Dear Amber,

We can hardly believe that Olivia (aka Cheyenne) has just celebrated her first birthday! When she arrived at the airport on February 12 and sprang out of her crate, we had no idea how fast she'd take over our hearts and lives! We can't imagine a sweeter, more loving and playful little girl than Olivia. She keeps us constantly amused with her outgoing, bigger-than-life personality. She loves everyone, and is comfortable wherever she goes thanks to how you successfully socialized her!

Olivia is now moving on to her first holiday season, and is very curious about all the lights and decorations. She occasionally wants to "help" by un-decorating our tree, but especially enjoys the small parties with extra company to entertain. Life is her daily adventure!

Here are a few pictures of our gorgeous girl!
Best,
Karen and Tom

Dear Teapup family,
We wanted to let you know this Thanksgiving how blessed we are to have "June" (Shih Tzu)with us.  We fell in love with her picture on your website and now she has us wrapped around her little paws.  We have renamed her Maisy and she is a wonderful addition to our family.  We brought her home and it is like she has always been here.    It's hard to believe that we have only had her not quite 3 weeks.  We have 4 daughters and they can't wait to play with her when they get home.  She has plenty of kisses for them too..  Our other 2 dogs are adjusting to her and the cat is a favorite friend of Maisy's.    Our family and friends are amazed at how well behaved she is. We have passed around your brochures at work and who knows maybe one of them will make the 21/2 hour trip down to see your puppies too.  We told them that it is a well worth it trip.
Thank you again,

I bought my little Lizzie from you in the summer of 2007 and I am still just ecstatic over her.  She’s healthy, she’s happy, and--I can say this without bias even if I am her Momma—she’s a gorgeous little girl.  When I bought her, Deb told me she would be the kind to come running to greet me when I come in the door and that’s exactly what she does.  She looks so sad when I have to leave her; she lays on the back of the couch and looks out the front window until I get home.  I’m not the only one who spoils her;  my parents are her grandparents.  The grandparents insisted that Lizzie go to Doggy Day Care while I’m at work so she won’t be lonely.  So she does.  She’s superfriendly with everyone there—she sits in the desk chair at the day care entrance and greets everyone who is coming or going.  She is their star pupil in the training program; the trainer uses her to show new clients what the dogs can do with training.  She has even starred in a television commercial for the vet’s office!  The training is a bonus; I just wanted her taken care of while I work but I am proud of her anyway.  She is exactly what I needed and what I wanted.  I had lost a little dog, Caleb, to liver failure just a few months before adopting Miss Lizzie and I was a little afraid to let another pup into my heart but she has been a great comfort--and a lot of fun besides.  Thank you for what you do.  Thank you for being a conscientious breeder.  I can’t thank you enough.  These little ones come into your heart and life and it is hard to let them go, even when they have had a long life, which wasn’t the case for Caleb.  I don’t dwell on the loss of Caleb but I do think about the differences between Caleb and Liz, and how grateful I am that you take such good care of the selection of parents and that you take such good care of the puppies while you have them.  Because so many people love the puppies, what you do affects so many lives.  Liz’s Grandma tells me occasionally “You should write the breeder and let them know how Liz is doing” and I keep telling her that I intend to.  Today, when Mom sent photos from her camera I thought this was the perfect opportunity to share.

Thank you so much for my Lizzie,

Lindalee Clayton

We just wanted to let you know again how pleased we are with the puppy we obtained from your facility.  My husband recently called you to let you know, but we also wanted to write to you.  We purchased a ShihTzu named "Sioux", who we have re-named "Tucker".  He is delightful - perky, gentle, very social, and very loving.  He is training us to assist him as good caretakers, and he rewards us with delightful, loving, and playful behavior.  It is obvious he was well cared for as a pup, and he was gently socialized, with a variety of people.  We thank you for your astute attention and expertise in raising a wonderful pet for us.

Thanks so much!

Hi everyone, Just to let you know Patches arrived safely around 5pm on Friday. He was very friendly and didn't seem like the flight bothered him at all.  He's been very good at night and only let out a couple of squeaks before settling down. He only gets up once a night to go potty and then goes straight back to sleep. When he wants to go outside he comes up to us and squeaks, he's only had a couple of accidents in the house, I was expecting a lot more to start with. We changed his name to Scamp at the request of our grandchildren and the name really suits him, he knows it already and comes running when we call him.  He is such a loveable little guy and so funny. My husband said we should have called him Mickey as he squeaks like a mouse.
We had him to the vet yesterday and she said he was very healthy, all the nurses fell in love with him.
I will keep you up with his progress and send a picture when he gets a bit bigger. Thank you so much for everything.

Amber,

She is just doing beautifully - even getting better at the potty training - but is she ever stubborn. She just lays down in the grass instead of "doing her stuff". I am surprised she wasn't sleeping alone because from the first night she has slept about 9 hours a night. The only things in her "cage'" are the blanket and toy you sent home with her.

We have named her Emma and I think she is beginning to recognize that we're talking to her.

We are just so happy we took the time and trouble to go to Teapup because she is such a super little girl and your place is just perfect. She is so socialized with other dogs and with us humans. We have had a lot of people over to see her.

I will be sure to let our new vet (who we will meet at 11:15 tomorrow) and the groomer (who she sees at 10 am on Wednesday) know about Teapup so they can pass on the web site to any one interested in a new puppy.

We got her flea and tick medication on Saturday. I'm sure she will look different with her new "do". If your web site accepts pictures I'll send you one of the "after" photos. If not, let me know and I will put some snapshots in the mail to you.

Thanks again for everything.

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that when we got Taylor, now Toby a mini schnauzer was the best thing that ever happened to our family. We got him on Dec 4 from Teapup. When we took him to the vet for his check up, the vet was very impressed with his record and all the shots he had gotten from Teapup.

I also have to tell you that Toby is the smartest dog I have ever worked with; at 11 months he understands the come command, he was house broken in 3 months.

The whole family loves Toby he is a very loving puppy. I got him for my wife on xmas but Toby has got the love of the whole family. He went to the beach with my wife on vacation he drove 13 hours in a car to Myrtle Beach even stayed at a hotel with my wife without any problems. When he got to the beach he was loved by all.

I can't say enough about Toby he is a pleasure I will be sending a photo to you

Great Job

Just wanted to update you on "Shelby" (Sydnee & Neeko), now named Peyton.  (yes, we're Colt's fans!)  She's adjusting wonderfully and loves to chase the cat, although the cat doesn't seem to care for that right now.  Still have some adjusting to do on the cat's part.

We just wanted to say thank you for everything and if we're ever in the market for another puppy, we'll definitely be back!

I have attached a few photos of Peyton for you to see.  We sure do love her already and we just got her a little over a month ago!!

Thanks again for such a wonderful addition to our family.

Hi, Amber!

I wanted to update you on Daisy (she was born Sabrina to Sonya and Gabe). Since we came down to get her a month ago, she's been great. She adjusted very quickly to being in our home. She's such a happy puppy and rarely does her tail stop wagging. Her expression is priceless, I swear she smiles!

Daisy gets along very well with her older "brother" Yoshi (formerly Parker from Pebbles and Rambo) too! We were worried about that because of friends of ours telling us that the second dog can sometimes present problems with territory and dominance, but that hasn't been an issue for us, thank goodness! They play a lot and keep each other great company. Also, it wasn't long before they were cuddling. Huge relief!

Anyway, Brian and I wanted to thank you and the staff for being so wonderful when we visited back in May! It was great that we could bring Yoshi with us too. I think that we're set for awhile with two dogs (dogs can't outnumber pets in our house and right now, we're equal!), but I've recommended Teapup a number of times to friends and neighbors. We receive so many compliments on our dogs from their looks to their demeanor. Your farm may be 4 1/2 hours away, but it's so worth the trip. It's apparent that every puppy is so cared for and loved. I attached a few photos to this email!

Enjoy your week and thank you so much again!

Hi Amber,
Well  Floyd is now a year old!  He wasn't real happy about the hat as you can see, but he loves his new toys!
We really enjoy our boy! His weight has stayed at 24-25# but he looks good and gets lots of running in. Chasing
birds away from my feeder (saves me lots of money) loves to bark at the squirrel's and the deer ( that just look at him from across the creek)  Loves to take me on walks and play with the grandkids. So in all he's doing great........
